On January 22, 2011, the Worldwide Logistics Group held grand opening ceremony to celebrate the establishment of the headquarters in Shanghai. This represents that this reputable company has made another solid pace forward on the long journey to become an excellent and first-class logistics company with the perfect combination of outstanding team management and advanced professional technology, which also helps shape the philosophy as an international logistics business enterprise.

In addition to the distinguished guest Gong Xueping, the standing committee member of NPC, more than 500 honorable guests and leaders from relevant departments, such as shipping, logistics, manufacturing industries, all attended the ceremony to mark this meaningful moment.

After ten years’ hard work and innovation, the Worldwide Logistics Group has developed into a comprehensive logistics group, which offers a diversified range of services including air & ocean transportation, land & rail transportation, warehousing (for general cargo, reefer cargo and DG cargo), terminal handling services, shipping agency, project cargo and freight forwarding services. The Group has now become one of the leading integrated logistics service providers in China. The Worldwide Logistics Group choose its new location in Yangpu District with a more than 3000-square-meter headquarters office building. The Group has given the first priority to the establishment of an advanced, efficient, and practical logistics information system and customer service platform for more than 20 branches and offices nationwide and over 1000 global cooperation agencies. And this has helped build a strong security system for the Group to provide the customers worldwide with integrated, efficient, and professional services.

With strong support from Yangpu District government, the Group successfully moved its headquarters to the new location. Lin Jie, the General Manager of the WWL, said that moving the headquarters to Yangpu was a strategic decision and choice, which also indicated that the Worldwide Logistics Group and the Yangpu District government had made their first–phrase achievements of communication and cooperation. And it would eventually become the impetus for the further development.
